Lugazi FC, under the leadership of the Board of Directors, announces the suspension of Head Coach, Mr. William Kyeswa.

This decision has been taken following a series of disciplinary issues and misconduct that have occurred during his tenure as head coach.

The club has previously provided Mr. Kyeswa with warnings and opportunities to address these behavioural concerns. Regrettably, these efforts have not resulted in the desired changes in his conduct, leaving the club with no alternative but to enforce this suspension.

The suspension will take effect immediately and will last for a period of seven days, during which Mr. Kyeswa will be excused from all his duties as head coach.

The Board of Directors and the club’s management are deeply committed to finding an amicable solution to the issues at hand.

We will engage Mr. Kyeswa during this suspension period with the objective of reaching a mutually acceptable resolution that allows for a positive and constructive working relationship moving forward.

During Mr. Kyeswa’s suspension, Assistant Coach Efiti Gerald will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing all roles and duties associated with the first team.

Coach Efiti is a dedicated and experienced member of our coaching staff, and we have full confidence in his ability to lead the team effectively during this period.

Lugazi FC remains committed to upholding its values and standards, which include professionalism and respect for the club’s code of conduct.

We believe that this temporary suspension is in the best interest of the club, its supporters, and the continued growth of Lugazi FC.

We kindly request the understanding and support of our fans, sponsors, and all stakeholders as we work through this situation and strive for a positive resolution.

The club will not make any further comments regarding this matter until a resolution has been reached, and we appreciate your cooperation in this regard.

End of Statement.
