Solomon Akodi has joined Lugazi FC from Calvary FC on a 3-year employment contract running until 2026.
Solomon led his former side (Calvary FC) to the 9th position throughout their maiden FUFA Big League campaign posting 4 goals and six assists.
The 22-year old has the capability to operate as a central defender as well as a defensive midfielder though Lugazi FC understands he has been signed basically to fulfil the defensive midfield role.
He is primarily a defensive-minded player, but possesses the technical ability to operate as a deep playmaker and the athleticism to move forward and support attacks, leading him to be regarded as a complete midfielder.

Akodi started his career at Naguru police Soccer Academy from 2014 to 2016 before joining Kampala 4th division side AK47.
The youngster also exhibited his talent at Big League side Ndejje University for a spell of two seasons between 2019-2021 posting a remarkable 6 goals and assisting five times before switching to Calvary FC.
