Derrick Mwanje, has committed to another two years with the club, signing a contract extension that will see him remain an integral part of the team until 2026.
Mwanje joined Lugazi FC in the 2022/2023 season and has since become a cornerstone of the squad. Over the past two seasons, his outstanding performances and hard work on the field have been pivotal in propelling Lugazi FC to the Uganda Premier League.
Reflecting on his renewal, Mwanje expressed his enthusiasm and determination to continue contributing to the club’s success. “I am thrilled to extend my stay at Lugazi FC. The support from the management, my teammates, and our incredible fans has been overwhelming. I am ready to give my all and help the team achieve even greater heights,” he said.
