We are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper George William Oluka from Maroons FC.
The former Uganda youth international signed a one-year contract to join the Leaders.
Oluka was a key figure for the Uganda Cubs (U-17) team that won bronze in the CECAFA U-17 Championship in 2018, and was also part of the mesmerising side that qualified for the 2021 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
He began his career at Mengo Children Foundation Academy in 2008 before he was transferred to Black Stars Namasuba in 2013.
In the football competitions for schools, the goalkeeper featured for St. Juliana High School Gayaza and Buddo S.S – playing in the FEASSA Games 2018 – Rwanda with the latter.
His eye-catching performances in the championship caught the keen eye of Tooro United who signed him up that same year. He has been at Maroons since 2021.
