The highly anticipated FUFA Big League clash between Lugazi FC and Kyetume FC ended in a 1-1 stalemate at Lugazi FC stadium.
Unlike in the reverse fixture where Lugazi FC prevailed over the Nakisunga based outfit on a 1-0 goal margin this saw both sides securing a point.

Towards the middle of halftime, Kyetume FC mounted pressure onto the hosts in quest for an equalizer with attempts from Ezra Kaye and Lubowa in the 25th and 29th minute respectively however Anthony Emojong was the savior of the day.
About seven minutes to the end of the first stanza, Kyetume FC dominated possession and in the 42nd minute they had an attempt on goal from a free kick which was cleared by Wasswa Paul and earned a corner kick to the visitors.
following that attempt, Lugazi FC conceded from a corner as Fred okot nodded off Lubowa’s in-swung long cross to level matters.
