Lugazi FC is optimistic to secure a twelfth win of the season as they host kataka FC in a FUFA Big League matchday 29 at Lugazi FC stadium in Najjembe.
Despite losing in the reverse fixture on 2-1 in a game played on Thursday 1st December, 2023 at Mbale Municipal stadium, the Lugazi based outfit has rejuvenated since the start of the second round and has an unbeaten spell of seven games in a raw.
The leaders will capitalize from the previous game where they prevailed over NEC FC on 2-1 goal margin at Coffee ground in Bugoloobi last week.
The result saw Lugazi FC registering their maiden away win in FUFA Big League and following that they repudiated to the fifth position with 40 points however it’s just goal difference sifting out between Lugazi FC and Booma FC in the sixth position.
It should be noted that Lugazi FC last lost at home on 1-0 against NEC FC in a game played on Thursday 5th January, 2023 at Lugazi FC stadium.
