Goalkeeper Fahad Imran has completed a move to Lugazi FC on a contract running until June 2026, with the option of a further year.

Imran joins the Leaders from fourth division side Bukamba United in Mukono, where he has plied his trade for the last five years.

He joined Bukamba in 2018, having previously honed his skills at the Big Talent Soccer Academy, a program run by Ugandan superstar Eddy Kenzo.

The goalkeeper developed through the youth system, first playing at Namagabi Secondary School where he played a pivotal role in helping the school qualify for the national finals three times.

He then moved to Kibuli SS where he led the school to the secondary school championship semifinals and winning the East African Secondary Schools championship in Arusha Tanzania.

Imran has also played in the Masaza Cup, featuring for Butambala Ssaza from 2020 to 2021, and in 2022, he joined Ggomba Ssaza, guiding them to the quarter-finals before they narrowly lost to Busiro.

His performances this season have been with Butambala, where he continued to showcase his goalkeeping prowess.
