We are delighted to announce the signing of forward Adam Mutesaasira from Muhazi United FC of Rwanda, with the winger signing a three-year contract with the club.
“I feel so good to be joining Lugazi FC, I am ready to perform at a high level to help the team achieve its goals,” he said with a wide smile after signing his contract.
The youthful wide man comes with valuable experience in topflight football having featured for Police FC in the FUFA Big League and Uganda Premier League, and Muhazi United FC in the Rwanda Premier League.
He played for Police FC between 2020 and 2023 before crossing to Rwanda where he has been displaying his enviable great football talent for the past two seasons with Muhazi United.
Mutesaasira impressed for the Rwamagana City based side during the 2024/25 campaign with twelve goal contributions (seven assists and five goals) across the 15 games he played in the second round of the Rwanda Premier League.
He was also among the top and trusted effective guns for Kibuli Secondary School during their impressive run to the 2022 FEASSSA Games football crown in Arusha, Tanzania.
Comfortable playing on either flank, Mutesaasira adds quality and class to the Lugazi FC squad.
