We can announce that Amos Etoju has joined us on a two-year contract.
The holding midfielder arrives from Kitara FC, for whom he made seven appearances in all competitions in the second half of last season after signing for them in January 2025 from Mbale Heroes where he had played ten Uganda premier league games in the first round.
“I am excited and glad to join Lugazi FC. I want to commit myself here, work so hard and help the club achieve its goals. I also want to improve as a player and I believe this is the perfect place for me to develop,” he said.
“I know there are some challenges that will come along but I am ready to face them, I will handle every situation the way it comes because I have to succeed here.”
Known for his; exceptional game reading, neat passing, aggressiveness, balancing defence and the attack, Etoju is capable of playing at center back too but he is expected to marshal our midfield next season in a holding midfield role.
Etoju is an experienced player having featured for Ngora Freda Carr, Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA FC), and Jinja North United.
He has also previously played for Busoga United and BUL FC in the Uganda premier league.
