We are delighted to announce the signing of David Bagoole from Wakiso Giants.

The immensely gifted attacking midfielder has penned a two-year contract that will keep him at the Lugazi FC Stadium atleast until 2027. He will put on jersey number 13.

“I feel exceedingly honoured to be part of this exciting team,” he said with a wide smile.

“This is simply one of the best teams around, joining was a no brainer and I believe I have made the right choice.”

“Everything look to be good here, I can’t wait to get down to work.”

Widely known as ‘Tong Po,’ the affable silky-skilled midfield artist kicked off his career in Busembatia at an early age before joining SC Villa in 2014.

He has in the past featured for Busoga United, BUL FC, Gaddafi FC, and Vipers SC in the Uganda Premier League. Jinja North United, Police FC and Baza Holdings are some of the other lucky sides he previously turned out for, here in Uganda.

At one time, Bagoole also played for clubs like La Passe in Seychelles, Sofapaka in Kenya, as well as OC Bukavu Dawa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

He is primed to play a key role as the club embarks on an ambitious season that gets underway next month. By securing his signature, the team has moved into a new dimension as he’s arguably considered to be one of the most gifted players in the CECAFA region.

He strengthens our glittering midfield that includes Amos Etoju, Derrick Mwanje, Solomon Okwalinga, Norman Lumumba Eluzai and Abdul Kalanzi.

Welcome to the Leaders, Tong Po!
