We are pleased to announce the signing of South Sudan’s U-20 youngster Chut Peter. The 20-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract with the Leaders, and will join his new team-mates immediately.
Chut said; “I am excited for the opportunity given to me to play in the Uganda Premier League. I am confident I will showcase my talent here and I hope for the best.”
“Lugazi FC is a very good project that’s led by someone who understands football very well. They have given many young players a chance to develop and I believe this will be the case for me as well.”

A versatile forward, Chut Peter started his career at Butabika Soccer Academy (2011-2015) in Uganda before signing with KCCA Junior Team where he spent three years (2016-2019) honing his skills.
He also played for Answar Muslim High School, Kasangati (2017), Kibuli SS (2018), Masaka SS (2019), and Royal Giant High School, Mityana (2020-2022) in the USSSA football competitions.
The South Sudanese youth international featured for the South Sudan’s U-20 team during the AFCON U-20 CECAFA zonal qualifiers in 2022 and 2024, and the 2023 AFCON U-2O in Egypt.
His huge potential caught the eye of Ivory Coast’s topflight side Ly lamine Ssasandra FC where he played in the Ligue 1 LONACI, the same year.
Welcome to Lugazi FC, Chut!
