We are delighted to announce the signing of forward Brian Ade from FUFA Big League side – Onduparaka FC.
The experienced striker has signed a two-year contract with the Leaders.

Brian Ade arrives in the forest with a wealth of top level experience. Previously, he played two full seasons in the Uganda Premier League with Arua Hill SC between 2021 and 2023.
He also boasts with a combined four years of FUFA Big League experience having played in the competition – initially with Arua Hill SC (2020/21), and then Onduparaka (2023-2026). He scored 14 goals for the Caterpillars last season.

Ade began his career with Arua City’s fifth division side Orashia FC in the 2014/15 season – scoring five goals in five appearances. He later joined fourth division team Arua Soccer Academy the following campaign, winning the championship with 11 goals in 12 games. He played for them until 2017.
From there on to 2019, he featured for the Uganda Christian University (UCU) in the University Football League but also had a development contract with KCCA FC.

Football fanatics nicknamed him Vardy because of his goal poaching instincts akin to those of former England forward Jamie Vardy, but he carries a tattoo on his left hand reading ‘The Ombacian’ that he flashes to the cameras whenever he scores, and it’s the nickname he prefers to be called.
He does this in honour, and as a walking thank you note to St. Joseph’s College – Ombaci, a school that overwhelmingly supported and also saved his football career at a time when no one could.
Going forward, Lugazi Senior School will take care of him, unconditionally.
Welcome to the Leaders, Ade.
