Lugazi FC is excited to announce the transfer of Cromwell Rwothomio from NEC FC, with the striker signing a two-year contract with the Leaders.
Rwothomio arrives at the Lugazi FC Stadium with vast experience, having featured for NEC FC, URA FC and Vipers SC in the Uganda Premier League, CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederations Cup.

He briefly said; “Lugazi FC is a very good club. All players, coaches, and the administrators are welcoming. I am happy that I will be playing football again.”
“I am indeed excited for this opportunity.”
The striker enjoyed a standout spell with URA FC, netting 35 goals in 77 games for the Tax Collectors between 2019 and 2022. Notably, he scored one of the goals as URA ran out 3-1 victors away to Ethiopian Coffee during their CAF Confederations Cup first round clash in September 2021.

His sharp finishing, quick turns and aerial strength drew an irresistible gaze from Vipers SC where he worked his way into the Venoms’ squad that also played in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
After one season at St. Mary’s Stadium, the experienced forward moved to NEC FC in September 2023 and spent three seasons with ‘The Diehards.’

He began his career with Packwach Youngsters in 2014. The following year, he crossed to Paidha Black Angels – captaining and leading the West Nile side to promotion to the Uganda Premier League in 2018.
Welcome to the Leaders, Rwothomio.
