Emmanuel Munoobi has completed a permanent move to Lugazi FC from Buikwe Red Stars.
The exciting right back has signed a two-year contract with the Leaders.
Munoobi began his career with Haka Ssoka Academy in 2014. After some eye catching performances, he was signed by third division team Buikwe Red Stars the following year.
He also progressed through St. Julian High School (2017-2018), and St. Mary’s Kitende (2019), before breaking into the Vipers SC first team in December 2019. He actively played for them until 2022.
His spell with the Venoms was interrupted by knee injuries that barred him from competitive football for close to three years, but his knee was corrected before returning to Buikwe Red Stars where he played the second round of the Buganda Regional League last season.
Munoobi scored four goals in nine appearances for the third division side. He will now continue his impressive progress with the Leaders.
