We are pleased to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Christopher Birungi from Nyendo FC.
Birungi has signed a four-year contract with the club and will officially join up with his new team-mates on Sunday.
He started his career at Tooro Stars FC, before playing in the Western Regional League and the FUFA Big League with Kasese New Villa between 2017 and 2019. He transferred to Ntoda FC in 2019, playing there for two seasons.
In the 2021/2022 season, he featured for another second tier side Nyamityoboro FC.
Birungi then switched to Entebbe Pride FC for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.
Buwambo FC would be his next destination but played there only for the first half of the 2025/26 season after attracting interest from Nyendo FC, another Buganda Regional League side. He scored six goals, and made 10 assists across the campaign.
