We are delighted to announce the signing of Donato Okello on a two-year contract. The utility player joins us from Kenya side Sofapaka FC whom he played for last season.
Before moving to the Batoto Ba Mungu, he featured for Uganda Premier League outfits – UPDF FC and Kitara FC in Uganda, winning the Stanbic Uganda Cup with the latter in the 2023/24 season.
Donato shaped his career through My Star Soccer Academy – Masaka, Express Junior Academy – Masaka, Nyendo Diamond FC, and Masaka City FC, before transferring to Synergy FC.
He also played for Raadsan SC in Somalia.
The midfielder also featured for the South Sudan U-23 team, making his debut against Tanzania in the 2021 CECAFA U-23 Challenge Cup.
